Call for Winter 2018 Newsletter Contributions

Submission Deadline: Friday, January 19, 2017 (new date)

Maybe you attended an inspiring conference or workshop, uncovered a particularly interesting nugget of Yukon history, recently published a book, acquired a new artifact for your collection, or are working on an ambitious project. If you have a story, picture, and/or announcement related to Yukon heritage to share, our newsletter is the perfect place to do it!

What We’re Looking For

  • Stories/articles should be one to four columns long. One column can accommodate about 325-475 words, depending on word length and the number and size of any accompanying images. Please also provide a one-sentence author bio.
  • News items/announcements may be brief or detailed. Up to 200 words is best.
  • Images are strongly encouraged and must be accompanied by a caption and credit. Please ensure you have permission from the photographer (or other copyright holder) before sending an image.
  • We can accommodate the following digital formats:
    • Text: PDF, MS Word (.doc or .docx), or right there in the body of an email!
    • Images: JPEG

Please be advised that all contributions may be edited and that some submissions may not be published.
